Hatherleigh Pottery
A working pottery and textile studio with gallery set in a beautiful
courtyard in the heart of west Devon. The workshops and showroom are set
around a cobbled courtyard which, for most of the year, is filled with
flowers and greenery.

Tintagel Castle
Legendary Birthplace of King Arthur and many other castles around Devon and

National Trust
Properties There are several located around
Dartmoor National Park including Buckland Abbey, Lydford Gorge, Castle

The Tarka Trail
The 180 mile recreational route follows cycleways, footpaths and quiet
country lanes and scenic railway. Henry Williamson's classic novel 'The Tarka Otter' has been the inspriartion for the Tarka Trail.

The Coast The
Antlantic costal resorts of Bude and Widemouth provide superb surfing as
well as wide spacious sandy beaches both within 20 minutes. A little further
down the coast are the picturesque resorts of Tintagel, Boscastle and
Crackington haven all nestled in their own steep valleys. |

Walking There
are plenty of circular walks for all abilities locally as well as Exmoor to
the north and Dartmoor to the south for the more enthusiastic walker.
